Burton 39 - 5 Moseley Oak

It was tough enough going to the league leaders without a number of senior and regular players but then to lose 2 backs at 10.30 am on the day of the game made the task impossible.

Matters got even worse after 8 minutes when Oak lost Outside Half Ollie Thomas.

It meant that Moseley's back row had to be suddenly become the team's midfield.

The early exchanges were ominous against a strong Burton who had a good scrummage, good lineout and some strong running backs.

The bonus point for 4 tries came in the first half with Mosley getting one back in reply.

The second half was a courageous defensive effort with 2 further tries conceded.

Several players back for next week with another tough away fixture- this time at Camp Hill.
