Bromsgrove 29 - 10 Moseley Oak

The score line makes it look very convincing. However, Moseley Oak put in a very strong and determined performance at league leaders Bromsgrove.

All the early pressure and territory came from Moseley, indeed it was 23 minutes before Bromsgrove got into the visitors half kicking off following an Ollie Thomas penalty.

Bromsgrove then scored their first try followed by a penalty and a second try on the stroke of half time.

A good start but a lack of composure when finishing led to a fourteen point deficit.

Five minutes into the second half Bromsgrove scored again before Moseley got their first try after more sustained pressure.

The final points went to the hosts when their left wing, a player who very much believes in his talent, took the final score to 29-10.

Bromsgrove were clinical and were clearly better at turning opportunities into points. Moseley were however their equal in the set piece and indeed turned over a number of line outs.

An entertaining game at a well supported and very hospitable club. They will be hard to beat while Moseley have much that is good to build on.
